Terms of purchase 

Our terms of purchase apply to all purchases made through Ansten Press's online store. By ordering from our web shop, you accept these terms and conditions. 

How to order

When we receive your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation to your e-mail address. It is the buyer's responsibility to check that the order confirmation matches the order in terms of quantity, product type, price, etc. The goods are delivered in accordance with the order confirmation. If you have any objections to the confirmation, you must contact us within 24 hours from the date of the confirmation. Ansten Press is not obliged to accept changes to the order after the order confirmation has been sent and the order has been placed.

Price list

International shipping costs are quoted and included at checkout. Buyer is responsible for any additional costs associated with international charges related to customs and VAT.

We reserve the right to change prices, printing errors, changes in text, images and links on our website. Please note that colours reproduced in the online store may differ from the actual colour of the product, partly due to different colour reproduction on different screens.

International shipping

International orders may be subject to VAT, import duties and other taxes upon arrival in the recipient country. We ship orders according to Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU), which means we do not collect or estimate duties and taxes in advance. For more information on specific costs, it is recommended to contact your local customs office.

During periods of high demand, such as holidays and promotions, the processing time may be slightly longer. The delivery time will also vary depending on where the order is to be shipped.

Payment options

Payment is made via the payment methods available in our online store. We use Stripe as our transaction provider. When we refund the purchase in their portal, in some cases it may take a few days before the amount is back in your account. How long it takes depends on agreements between the banks.

Delivery

When checking out in the online store, you will see several shipping options based on your delivery address (postal code). It is the buyer's responsibility to check that they choose shipping according to their location. If you fail to do so, extra shipping costs may be added to your purchase or the order may be cancelled. For larger orders and shipments – more than five books – please contact us at post@anstenpress.no and we’ll make the necessary arrangements for best shipping option to your address.
Ansten Press is not responsible for delays caused by third party suppliers.

Right of withdrawal

Unless the agreement is exempt from the right of withdrawal, the buyer can cancel the purchase in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act, except for made-to-order products. The buyer must inform the seller that he/she wants to exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days after the withdrawal period starts. This deadline includes all calendar days. If the period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the deadline is extended to the next business day.

Complaints and returns

If you receive a defective item, please email post@anstenpress.no with photos of the damage within 3 days of receipt.

You can return an item within 14 days, except for made-to-order products. Return costs are covered by the buyer unless otherwise agreed. Bespoke and handmade products cannot be returned or cancelled after ordering. The item must be unused and in original condition for a full refund. Damaged returns are not accepted.

When returning, include the order number and the desired action (refund or exchange). Mark the package with “Returning Goods / Return” to avoid customs costs, and pack the item well. We will get in touch to make the necessary arrangements for refunds payment.  Processing time varies according to the banks' process.

Complaints

If a defect is discovered in the goods, you must notify us within a reasonable time after the defect was discovered or should have been discovered. Complaints made within 2 weeks of discovery are always considered timely.

The complaint deadline is: 2 months.

If the complaint is approved, we will offer repair, replacement, price reduction or cancellation of the purchase in accordance with applicable regulations.

Notice: The warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper use or lack of maintenance.

To register a complaint, contact us at post@anstenpress.no with a description of the defect, order number and photos documenting the defect.

Crediting of purchases

Once we have received the item in line with the guidelines mentioned above, we will process the refund and credit the amount to you. Please note that it may take a few days for the amount to appear in your account after the refund has been completed in our system. 

Privacy policy

We processing your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

The data controller for the personal data collected is the seller. Unless the buyer consents otherwise, the seller may, in accordance with the Personal Data Act, only collect and store the personal data necessary for the seller to fulfill the obligations under the agreement. The buyer’s personal data will only be disclosed to others if it is necessary for the seller to fulfill the agreement with the buyer, or in cases required by law.

Changes in terms and conditions

Ansten Press reserves the right to change these terms of purchase. Changes will be published on our website, and it is the customer's responsibility to keep up to date on current conditions.
