Publishing art books

in collaboration with artists and cultural institutions

From our studio journal

Ansten Press is an Oslo-based art book publisher and editorial design studio working with artists, photographers, writers and cultural institutions.

Each publication is shaped around its own editorial vision. We work carefully across editing, design and production, collaborating with local printers and craft specialists to realise books defined by clarity, precision and lasting quality.

Our projects range from institutional publishing series to individual artist monographs.

Work by Ansten Press has received awards from Visuelt and Årets vakreste bøker.

Our books are distributed through specialist bookshops, galleries and museum stores internationally, and are also available through our webshop and showroom in Vika, Oslo.
